On 12th February 2026, MTI-KP Policy Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Nausherwan Khan Burki, accompanied by Board Members Dr. Muhammad Tahir Aziz & Dr. Zeeshan bin Ishtiaqu, conducted an official visit to MTI-KTH and KMC.

The delegation was received and warmly welcomed by the Chairman Board of Governance MTI-KTH/KMC/KCD Dr. Wajid Ali, BOG member Mr. Muhammad Ishtiaque Ahmad, Dean KMC – Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, Hospital & Medical Director, Associate Prof. Dr. Awais Naeem, along with KTH Management.

The Event saw the participation of key figures as well, which includes Associate Medical Director, Associate Prof. Dr. Irum Sabir, Associate Hospital Directors, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sajjad Dawar, Asst. Prof. Nisar Ahmad, Nursing Director – Mr. Asmat Pasha and all the Departmental Managerial Staff.

The visit included a comprehensive review of clinical and diagnostic services, including OPD, specialty clinics, Pathology, Radiology, MRI, CT Scan, X-ray, Modular OTs, and Emergency departments.

The delegation also engaged with faculty, TMOs, students, and management at Khyber Medical College, fostering constructive dialogue and gathering feedback to further strengthen institutional performance and service delivery standards. A continued commitment to governance, quality enhancement, and patient-centered excellence remains the shared priority.
