Bio Data/Profile

Dr. Tariq Ahmad is an Associate Professor of Pediatric Urology at Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH), Peshawar, Pakistan, with over 15 years of specialized clinical, academic, and surgical experience. He is recognized for his expertise in pediatric urology, minimally invasive surgery, advanced laparoscopy, and endourological procedures for children of all ages.
He completed his MBBS and FCPS in Urology, followed by advanced international fellowships in Pediatric Urology, Laparoscopic Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Techniques from leading centers in Belgium, the United States, France, and SIUT Pakistan. His extensive training enables him to provide high-quality care for complex pediatric urological conditions, including pediatric PCNL, ureteroscopic lithotripsy, hypospadias repair, cystolithotripsy,
and neonatal urological surgeries.
Dr. Tariq Ahmad is a dedicated clinician, researcher, and medical educator. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed research publications in reputable international and national journals, with a focus on pediatric kidney stones, minimally invasive surgery, hydronephrosis, megaureter management, and pediatric endourology. He actively contributes to academic development, teaching, and postgraduate training at Khyber Teaching Hospital and Khyber Medical College.
