Introduction:
The Planning & Development Department is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring all development initiatives across MTI Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), Khyber Medical College (KMC), and Khyber College of Dentistry (KCD). The department is headed by the Manager P&D and functions as the central coordinating body for infrastructure development, project planning, and institutional growth.
Core Functions
- Preparation and review of PC-I/PC-II, PC-III, PV-IV and feasibility studies.
- Development, coordination, and implementation of infrastructure and renovation projects.
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of ongoing development works.
- Coordination with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and external consultants.
- Preparation of development budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
- Submission of periodic progress reports MTI management
- Ensuring compliance with MTI Act, technical standards, and hospital/college development policies.
- Facilitating structural assessment, master planning, and expansion planning

- Support for new project proposals and developmental needs.
- Technical assistance in design review, drawings, and BOQs.
- Site inspections and physical verification of works.
- Development data management and documentation.
- Liaison with government departments, consultants, and contractors
